Friendly service. The food seems like it has gotten better over the years. I've never had a problem with the food or the service, and the portions are great for the price. One of the best servers in town, as well!

Overall, a very nice Chinese restaurant in small town New Mexico. I arrived 15 minutes before closing and they still sat me without complaint, which is a rare treat in today’s post Covid restaurant environment. The service is outstanding and chef / owner Ping Lee is taking Chinese cooking in Silver City to the next level with her always fresh ingredients approach. The sweet-and-sour chicken with the sauce on the side. The chicken was nicely cooked, but the sauce had a taste that I could not put my finger on what it was, but it was not something to my liking, so I did not eat the sauce. The barbecue fried rice was very good and nicely spiced. The Kung Pow Chicken had solid flavors with lots of vegetables. The staff and service were outstanding even though the restaurant was packed with customers. If you’re trying to decide on a good Chinese restaurant in Silver city, I think you should definitely give the Chinese Place a try. Enjoy!

Just like the other patron said. Do not let the looks fool you. Great food , fresh veggies.. overall a gem in Silver City! From a friend that ate with me. recently dined at the Chinese Palace Restaurant in Silver City, NM, and had a fantastic experience. The food was authentically Chinese and exceptionally fresh. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients were clearly high quality. The service was warm and attentive, making the overall dining experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking delicious and genuine Chinese cuisine in the area. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
